You may have noticed that we did not do our usual spring fundraiser this year, mindful that there’s been so much happening at home and around the world. Still, our mission hasn’t slowed down — and your support remains vital.

Provide reusable menstrual health supplies and training to three young women.
Only 2% of our female students become pregnant before the age of 18, compared to 20% locally and 30% nationwide.

Provide access for one woman in the community to the 4-month Women’s Business Training.
Thanks to the knowledge gained, women who graduate from the training on average have a 92% increase in income.

Provide one year of holistic after-school programs for a high school student.
After-school tutoring helps 95% of our 12th graders pass the national exam, compared to a 68% pass rate nationwide.

Provide one year of learning for a special education student at Read for Rose.
Over 40 girls and boys with disabilities access individual learning plans at Read for Rose Special Education Program.

Provide one college scholarship to a student attending a Zambian college.
89% of college graduates attribute their success to the Learning & Leadership Center and our scholarships.

Provide 25,000 meals to the girls and boys who access the Nutrition Program.
Over 400 hot meals are served daily. For many of the children and youth, this is the only hot meal that they receive each day.
